Life is Great.....

So I have to apologize for the lack of postings of late, I've rarely been online lately so I haven't had the chance to step up and bring anything of great quality to the blog (not that I was ever really doing that anyway!!)

The truth is that I have had some pretty great distractions keeping me out of the house and away from the computer lately so I guess I'm not really *THAT* sorry!. Anyway Life is treating me exceptionally well at the moment and I feel that I can't take any of the amazing and new experiences that have been occurring of late for granted so I have to make the most of them and enjoy everyday for all it's worth.

Just a quick update on what's been happening and what I have been loving.....

Receiving an incredibly sexy and special gift of great sentimental and historical importance from Scott www.billinexile.blogspot.com in the mail.

Checking out the Talent for Fox's upcoming season of "Australia's Next Top Model" at the taping at ARQ Nightclub last Thursday night, The girls this year are of a much higher calibre than the first season and It's going to make for some serious competition, I already have a favorite to win.

Celebrating the Birthday of an Amazing Friend in a Fabulously Trashy and High Calibre Fan-fare last Sunday evening, A big Thankyou to the Birthday Boy and Company involved for creating a fun filled Party that successfully manages to always raise the bar (in house lasers) while still always keeping it at hysterically low levels (red cordial and feminine hygiene products)

Getting to know a really exceptional guy that I met at the Birthday Party last Sunday and enjoying all that goes with it....Catching up for dinners, hangin out, sleepovers, and days at the Beach Together.

Getting into the Book he gave me today "Pleasure and Pain - My Life by Chrissy Amphlett" The Story of one of my favorite Female Rockers and her life as the Lead Singer of "The Divinlys" Who's music I can't get enough of.

So that's a small chunk of what's been going on lately and there will definitely be some more regular updates to the Blog again shortly.

Australia's Next Top Model...

Ok, so it may not be anywhere near as good as "America's Next Top Model" but Fox's local version screened here is still pretty great. I can't say I'm a huge fan of any TV show being shown here at the moment, except maybe for the Animated "reality" series Drawn Together but due to a fling last Summer I really got hooked onto "Next Top Model" (he had cable TV at his place so we always would watching it whenever we weren't having sex.)

So when I saw the advertisement above in the Gay Newspapers last week I knew I would have to go!. They are currently filming the second season here in Sydney and this weeks challenge will involve the Models battling it out against a few of Sydney's top Drag Queens at ARQ nightclub. Should be lots of fun and it will be great to get a sneak peek of the contenders for the upcoming season before the show airs.
I'll be going along with Rod (the fling from last summer) who has become a good friend and Ill be posting some photo's from the night afterwards if I can manage to get a few good shots.

"the power of cock, the glory of cock, the terror of cock, the grandeur of cock, all hail to the cock - it's stiff majesty, i'll worship the cock from on bended knee..."

Dancing Giant Productions in association with SX news will be hosting a special charity fundraiserperformance of "Death's Waiting Room" on Wednesday, October 19th at PACT Theatre, 107 Railway Pde,Erskineville (1 min walk from Erskineville Station).

It's a dark comedy for mature audiences - a little bit circus, a little bit musical theatre, with acast of circus freaks and a chorus of filthy whores, all who cower under the reign of theiriron-fisted ringmaster.

'When it comes down to it though they're not that strange after all, just a mermaid, a ballerina or a lonely man - simple, fairly normal and possibly beautiful. If only they could stop fucking each other.' Revolver, Feb 25 2002.

All tickets that evening will be sold at the adult price of $25 with 40% of box office funds raisedfrom the evening being donated to People Living With HIV/AIDS (NSW), a non-profit communityorganisation representing the interests of HIV positive people in the state."We're thrilled to be able to help out the community in this way, " says Death's Waiting Room'sDirector Danielle Harvey. "The arts are a reflection of life, an extension of it, and this feelslike a natural coupling; one community group helping another."Glenn Flanagan - Senior Project Officer for 'People Living with HIV/AIDS (NSW)' - is veryappreciative for the fundraising opportunity. "We support HIV positive people with information sothey can lead fulfilling and satisfying lives, so it goes without saying how important thisfundraiser is."The money raised at this event will help PLWHA (NSW) fund projects which aren't funded throughgovernment grants, such as their monthly support group for newly diagnosed HIV positive men - verynoble and valuable work that is changing the lives of many.

Back Home.....

Flew back into Sydney on Monday after a pretty blissful week in Byron Bay, I'll update on the parties over the October Long weekend and the Byron Trip happenings shortly but in the meantime here's 2 shots I took yesterday while catching up with my friend Richard at Bondi Beach.
The water was freezing and there were no waves but the brilliant warm weather and the uncrowded beach in weekday mode made for a pretty great way to sun away the afternoon.
