Finally - a DVD that's getting the "respect that it's entitled to!!"
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Mommie Dearest's release (or the 25th Anniversary of the death of Faye Dunnaway's career if you like) Paramount are finally releasing a special edition "Hollywood Royalty" DVD of the film on the 6th June in the U.S.
This is one DVD release I am REALLY excited about - I'm not ashamed to admit that I love this trashy and laughable Banana Split film and with special features such as a commentary by John Waters it's going to be a lot of fun to have the cinematic experience that is Mommie Dearest re-invented.
DVD Release Date: June 6, 2006
DVD Features:
Available Audio Tracks: English (Unknown Format)
Commentary by: John Waters Unknown Format
Three all-new featurettes: The Revival of Joan (the biography and its adaptation to screen), Life with Joan (the making of the film with exclusive behind-the-scenes stories), Joan Lives On (the film's release and cult following)
